“We are deeply honored to receive this recognition for the best program promoting healthy habits from the Association of Health and Food Professionals (APSAL). The APSAL Awards are among the most prestigious accolades, and this year our Corporate Social Responsibility program, Joy of Moving, has been recognized for its ongoing commitment to encouraging physical activity among children and adolescents. This year marks the program’s 10th anniversary, which we celebrate by collaborating closely with academic, sports, and international organizations, as well as local communities, to bring the joy of movement to more children” remarked Laura Perdomo, Country Manager of Ferrero Southern Cone.
Joy of Moving is based on four key principles that teach children important universal values such as fun, fair play, friendship, and family. The program is inspired by a scientifically validated educational method that uses play and movement to help children develop key skills in four main areas essential for growing up active and happy: physical fitness, motor coordination, cognitive functions, and life skills.
In Argentina, the program has been active since 2014, bringing the joy of movement to over 1,419,000 children across the country throughout its history.
