PRODUCTION LICENCE CONFIRMED FOR FERRERO ARLON

THE FERRERO GROUP

On Friday 16 September, the Belgian food safety authority (AFSCA) confirmed the production licence for the Ferrero Arlon factory.

We are pleased to receive final authorisation for production at our factory in Arlon from the Belgian food safety authority (AFSCA). This follows the conditional authorisation granted on June 17. Since then we have worked under AFSCA’s supervision using enhanced quality protocols and testing. These new quality protocols include an increased sampling plan and positions our quality monitoring system beyond current legal requirements.

We have learned a lot during this period and have quickly put these learnings into practice. We are grateful for AFSCA’s close collaboration.

The granting of our production licence means everything is in place for our factory to produce with confidence and we will continue to do everything we can to prevent this from happening again.

We would like to thank AFSCA for its assistance throughout the process that has led to the confirmation of the production licence for Ferrero Arlon.
