What’s New For 2025
- The Sound of Nutella. To celebrate World Nutella® Day 2025, Nutella® has unveiled its unique sonic identity: ‘The Sound of Nutella’. Developed in collaboration with MassiveMusic, a creative music agency, this distinctive soundtrack reflects the brand’s values of positivity and togetherness, and the sound of one of its signature ingredients: hazelnuts. Exploring what they could do musically, they dropped them on a drum kit, tossed them at guitars, shook them in a Nutella jar and poured them onto a piano. The end result? A lighthearted, fun and infectious track, you can't help but humming and smile at.
- MAXXI Museum Rome Exhibition. Did you know that the National Museum of 21st Century Arts in Italy, the first Italian national institution dedicated to contemporary creativity, is currently hosting a special exhibition celebrating iconic 60-year journey of Nutella®? Today, visitors at the MAXXI Museum in Rome will also enjoy a special event. The exhibition is open to visitors in Rome until April 20th.
- “The New Nutella World” Book Launch. Nutella is proud to share with fans that Gigi Padovani, Italian journalist and food writer, just released a new edition of his book, offering an in-depth look at the journey of Nutella® to a beloved global power brand and its celebration in popular culture. The innovation that built an icon
Nutella®, which celebrated its 60th anniversary last year, is chosen by millions globally to spread positivity, feed togetherness and bring unbeatable taste to the table. A story of invention and passion, Nutella® has been spreading smiles across the globe for six decades, continually evolving and innovating to find new ways to surprise and delight its fans across 170 countries.
This love and passion even sparked the creation of World Nutella® Day in 2007. When Sara Rosso first invented World Nutella® Day, Nutella® was enjoyed as a hazelnut and cocoa spread only. Now, 17 years later, fans around the world can celebrate the many ways to enjoy Nutella®—whether as a biscuit, snack, frozen bakery item, or even ice cream. A few months ago, Nutella® also launched a new plant-based version, extending the experience to even more fans worldwide.
Looking ahead, the Ferrero Group will continue to explore new ways to surprise and delight its fans, while building on Nutella®’s legacy and Ferrero’s confectionery expertise. This includes the launch and expansion of its new Frozen Bakery range, muffins, croissants, crepes, and donuts, offering yet another way to enjoy the signature Nutella® experience at home.
Thomas Chatenier, Global President of Nutella at Ferrero, said: “World Nutella® Day is a testament to the enduring power of our brand and the passion of our fans, which has cemented Nutella’s position as a cultural icon – celebrated even by books and exhibitions. At Ferrero, we are committed to continuous innovation, ensuring that Nutella® remains a beloved part of people’s lives. Nutella® has always been about spreading joy and positivity, and today we have a full Nutella® family of products to enjoy, from biscuits, snacks and ice cream to frozen bakery and new plant-based innovation. A huge thank you to all Nutella fans that keep us evolving! We look forward to many more years of spreading smiles and creating even more unforgettable Nutella® moments with you.”
This year, the brand is calling on fans to once again celebrate World Nutella® Day and spread the joy of Nutella® by sharing their special moments on social media using #WorldNutellaDay #spreadanutellasmile
