The recognition, granted by the Association of Health and Food Professionals (APSAL), honored the program in the "Healthy Habits" category for its commitment to promoting physical activity among children and adolescents in Argentina.

Buenos Aires, November 13, 2024.- Ferrero Argentina was recognized by the Association of Health and Food Professionals with the APSAL 2024 Award in the "Healthy Habits" category for its Corporate Social Responsibility program, Joy of Moving. The program encourages a positive attitude toward play and physical exercise, based on the firm belief that movement and an active lifestyle will make today’s children better adults in the future.”.

The APSAL Awards celebrate excellence and contributions from various players in the food and health industries in areas of mutual interest, recognizing efforts to improve individual, social, and environmental wellbeing.

Joy of Moving is based on four key principles that teach children important universal values such as fun, fair play, friendship, and family. The program is inspired by a scientifically validated educational method that uses play and movement to help children develop key skills in four main areas essential for growing up active and happy: physical fitness, motor coordination, cognitive functions, and life skills.

In Argentina, the program has been active since 2014, bringing the joy of movement to over 1,419,000 children across the country throughout its history.
