Ferrero Argentina

Ferrero entered the Argentine market in 1993 and since then has brought joy to consumers with its iconic brands such as Ferrero Rocher, Kinder, Nutella and Tic Tac.

In 1993, continuing with its worldwide expansion policy, the Ferrero Group disembarked in Argentina. In the course of that year and the following year, the importation and distribution of Kinder Huevo, Tic Tac and Ferrero Rocher products began to be carried out nationwide.

In March 1994, Kinder Huevo was launched to the market, resulting in a true success, without precedent in the chocolate products market, selling close to 10,000,000 eggs during the winter season.

That same year, the company decided to launch two other products in the Argentine market, both of which were highly recognized around the world. The first one was Tic Tac, which generated a strong repercussion in sales at national level, after the successes obtained in different tests carried out in the main cities of the interior of the country. The second was Ferrero Rocher, a product that perfectly reflects the quality and values of the company, achieving an excellent performance in the year of its launching.

Due to these successes, in the following years, the company decided to continue adding other products: by the end of 1994 Kinder Chocolate and NUTELLA®, and at the beginning of 1995 Kinder Bueno.

The satisfaction of the consumers, the commitment of the personnel and the excellent results led to the fact that a great dream that was beginning to take shape at the Head Office became a reality two years later, when Ferrero decided to make its industrial landing in the country.

In 2001, Argentina experienced one of the greatest economic and social crises in its history. Despite this, Ferrero Argentina remained firmly in the market with all its brands, maintaining their quality and without reducing the number of employees.

The continuous growth of Ferrero Argentina made possible, in 2009, the launching of a product of the Kinder family: Kinder Joy, a perfect combination of a delicious cream based on milk, cocoa and hazelnuts with two crunchy snacks.

The Ferrero family of products continues to grow in Argentina. Ferrero Argentina currently has an important distribution network for its products and supplies the entire national territory.

In September 1996, the modern production plant was inaugurated in Los Cardales, in the district of Exaltación de la Cruz, located approximately 80 km. from the city of Buenos Aires, in an area of more than 225 hectares. Kinder Huevo products are manufactured there to supply not only the local market, but also all Latin America.
